Eat an apple while watching the movie Twilight where the story takes place, Forks, WA.
I sat in front of the welcome to Forks sign, set up my camera w/ tripod, and camped in front of the sign eating an apple while the movie was playing on my computer for the couple of seconds required for my self-timer to go off.
Being completely honest. I liked this task - I even didn't mind the movie (I watched one night while camping at Heart-o-the-Hills in Olympic National Park). I did feel like quite the dork being a 29 year old man running around with my laptop, camera, and an apple while high schoolers flocked to Forks to take the Twilight Bus Tour. The whole scene of Twilight was crazy. I couldn't believe how many people where there just to see the place that is the setting for a make believe story. When I was in high school I really enjoyed "Of Mice and Men" and a bunch of Louis L'Amour books but I didn't head west to envision the plots while sitting in the spot where all the fictitious action took place. If you were wondering, Yes, I felt like a total dork.
