Seattle is a pretty cool city - it probably fits comfortably in the top 10 cities in which I would like to live and work. I used Seattle as my hub to get too and from Wisconsin for my 7th annual weekend for boys. Although, I was using it for its airport, I was more than happy to spend a few days in the city upon my return. I spent the days and evenings hanging out with Luke and Barb (friends from Manitowoc).
It turns out that Luke might just be a worse cribbage player than Krupski (the worst cribbage player ever) until he showed that he excells at three player cribbage. The area where Barb and Luke live is interesting in itself. A lot of colorful people live here and it's plenty entertaining just to look out the window or walk the sidewalks and watch the passersby. One day, Luke and I walked down to Safeco Field to check on tickets for the Mariners vs. Yankees game. On the way, I was greeted by some bad news. I learned that our 2024 Presidential Opponent, Rob Thomas was speaking at the WaMu Arena. That was bad news, the good news was that I got a ticket to see CC Sabathia pitch for the Yankees against the Mariners. The bad news was that A-Rod and Griffey didn't play.
