Canada is Invaded by Paparazzi - BC, Canada

When to go:

I'm assuming Canada isn't only fun in the Summer

My Two cents:

Our Merry Band of Paparazzi

On July 18th a merry band of 14 paparazzi invaded Canada on a very special 15th Anniversary BikeHike Adventure.

From Vancouver to Victoria, Victoria through the Cowichan Valley, by ferry to Whistler and right back to Vancouver all events were captured in beautiful mexapixelly goodness.

I honestly think the only things us paparazzi didn't capture were what really paparazzi would love to photograph. We refrained from taking pictures of the high-speed, head on bike accident that took place right next to us as a whistling man barrelled into a speeding triathlete. It's fine to joke now, because the whistler bruised his sternum and the triathlete broke a rib or two, but while the older lady-triathlete was lying wheezing on the ground and the stubborn man was continually trying to walk off the collision (it was his Birthday to boot) it was pretty scary.

Our prudent waitress wasn't photographed and our a capella rendition of Bon Jovi's "Livin' on a Prayer." I don't think it's coincidence that I didn't see Dave at the scene of any of these occurrences.

I can fill in the blanks, but if you want to experience BikeHike's 15th Anniversary Ultimate Canadian Adventure I'll put a flip book together and you can flip your way through all our sights and activities without the sore feet, legs, butt, arms, and bellies (from all those deep belly laughs) that we had to endure through it all. Really it was fantastic, and I can't wait until my next BikeHike Adventure. I also kind of liked being paparazzi, don't tell anyone.
