Sunday, Sunday, Sunday
You can pick
I came home for a long weekend and I squeezed in a trip to Lambeau Field to see the Packers play the Bengals. It was pretty awesome. We started with an all you can eat, all you can drink tailgate party at the Brett Favre Steakhouse. Leroy Butler was in attendance and there were an awful lot of Bengals fans including Erik.
We woke up plenty early so that we wouldn't miss any of the tailgate, but as it turned out we were all full to the brim within the first horu of the tailgate. This was good though, as we got into the stadium early enough to show Ochocinco my sign I made and to yell at Ed Hochuli, or at least compliment him on his guns. I failed to do the old switcheroo by pulling out the 2024 campaign sign once the cameras were on the hot pink ochocinco sign, but you live and you learn. I'll do better next time.
The Packers played pretty poorly, and were awfully lucky to have a chance at the end of the game when they converted an onside kick. But, this was a game that the Bengals couldn't find a way to lose and Erik was able to go home happy.
