My Two cents:

I can't really supply a very good opinion of this park as I simply passed through it on my way back to Yellowstone National Park. It looked nice from my car and I had intended to hike to the top of Mount Lassen, but the trail was closed due to some sort of natural disaster. The park wasn't busy at all, and the scenery was plenty attractive, but I wanted to get back to the Rockies before the end of the summer.
