During a Star Trek Convention
With a Kirk
This is how I started out my "Pinky Up Tour." I had to start with a nice and safe destination - so I went straight into America's Heartland; Riverside, IA. My intention was to look up the Kirks in the phonebook and stop at each of them and tell them that someday their progeny, Captain James T. Kirk would be shot in the back (or however the heck he died). Or better yet, I would make an attempt to father Captain Kirk. I know this would be a difficult challenge as I am a man and my last name is not Kirk, but I could try my darndest. I ended up only getting as far as looking in the phonebook. I was discussing my plan with the gas station employee and he was looking at me like I was an idiot so I thought better of my plan. I did drive around the town long enough to find that they are proud of their future and they even have a replica Starship Enterprise in a park.
