What to Do:

My Two cents:

Just like it's neighboring Sequoia National Park this is another hikers paradise. For good reason John Muir spent much of his time exploring and trying to preserve these lands of the Sierra Nevada. Very similar to Sequoia the attractions are groves of Sequoia trees and canyon vistas.

I arrived here after November so I could simply drive in to view the canyon, but I could not continue on any further than that. The Sequoias are easily accessible year round. The trails are maintained very nicely, and it's a very easy, short hike around the Sequoias where the General Grant is rooted (the largest tree in the park).
