Haight and Ashbury - San Francisco, CA

Rating: ratingrating

What I was supposed to do:

I was supposed to stand at the corner of Haight and Ashbury with a flower in my hair.

What I did:

Now, I don't have much hair anymore, but I do have ears. This is rather cowardly, but I found a flower in a flower pot around the corner, waited until no one was around, then quick snapped a picture with the flower in my ear (again - I'd have no problem doing these with someone else, but on my own, I just feel out of place).......AND, I couldn't have been there at a worse time. It was Black Friday, and there were people lined up outside shops just waiting for the doors to open up. I'm a sally, I know.

My Two cents:

I like it. I didn't know what it meant until I checked out the good old Wikipedia and then everything started to make more sense. I guess this corner marks the origin of hippies. I did not know this.
