Capitalism With a Conscience:

Our campaign firmly believes that Capitalism can thrive, especially in the United States, the country with the largest GDP in the world. However, we also believe that many capitalists have lost track of their moral compass. Too many compaines are making money the easy way through exploitation, misdirection, dishonesty, and heavy handed policies.

There was a time when the majority of capitalists earned their living on a superior product at an honest price with superior service. Money was exchanged for a service or product and the provider of this service or product earned it. Today companies make money by getting consumers with three big gotchas:

  • Intereste Rates
  • Late Fees
  • Recurring Payments

I'm not trying to take all responsibility off of the consumer (this is a two-pronged approach, curbing predatory tactics and educating the public), but these practices are flat-out wrong, and we aim to create a time when producers earn their keep and quit taking it through small print and hidden fees.

Capitalism with a Conscience

Education is the Rehabilitation for our Nation:

The United States continues to fall behind other progressive nations in the area of education. If we could we would funnel as much resources and time in to education but we understand that is unreasonable. We also understand that when a blank check is offered, exploitation often follows. So, what we are going to do is completely overhaul the education system. We need to educate children of what they are going to encounter in the future rather than what has happened in the past. We need to educate on responsible spending and saving, predatory sales methods, and proper investing. We feel that we can not only improve the content and delivery of todays core subjects, Math, English, History, but we can also incorporate career counselling, and additional practical knowledge based off of real-life examples that will be engaging and attractive to future generations.

On Abortion:

I don't know about my Presidential partner, but, personally, I don't feel that abortion should be an issue for debate. Personally, I would never support the decision to abort a child, BUT, it's not my place to make that decision for someone else. If the mother and father agree that they are not capable of caring for this child and feel abortion if the correct plan of action, that is their choice and they will have to live with it for the rest of their life. It's all guesswork debating whether an innocent, unplanned child is better off being aborted or growing up in a home that doesn't want him/her.

Basically, I don't believe the solution to this problem is debating one side or the other. What we need to do is to increase education in order to reduce unplanned pregnancies.
